These origami fish earrings are folded by hand from traditional washi paper. Full of colour and character, they’re delicately finished and wonderfully light to wear.
Materials
Genuine washi paper made from natural plant fibres, with traditional Japanese patterns and colours. Each fish is folded by hand and completely sealed in multiple ultra-thin layers of crystal-clear resin, preserving its delicate shape while adding strength and weather resistance.
Choose 925 sterling silver hooks and fixings or polished 18K gold-plated brass hooks and loops. Both finishes are £25 per pair.

Delivery & Returns
Care
The fine resin layers seal and protect the paper from everyday weather. To care for the finish and metal components, remove your earrings before swimming or showering, and avoid perfume, lotions and cleaning products. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately. Do not use silver dip.

Our origami jewellery begins with a sheet of washi: traditional Japanese paper made from natural plant fibres. Washi is traditionally made using fibres such as kozo (paper mulberry), mitsumata and gampi, valued for their strength and delicate texture. Traditional Japanese patterns and rich colours give our jewellery its intricate detail.
We fold every piece by hand, then apply multiple ultra-thin layers of crystal-clear resin to completely seal the paper and hold each fold in place. The fine layers add strength and weather resistance while preserving the elegant shape and lightness of the origami.
