About Echo Jewellery
Jewellery inspired by nature
Echo Jewellery brings together real flowers, folded paper, natural materials and refined metalwork in pieces made to feel personal.
Founded by artist Yi Zou in Hampshire, Echo grew from a love of noticing the small details in nature—and finding thoughtful ways to make them wearable.
Jewellery with something real at its heart
Some Echo pieces begin with real flowers, carefully arranged and preserved in clear resin. Others take shape from individually folded origami, natural wood, jade, pearls or nature-inspired designs in 925 sterling silver and 18K gold-plated 925 sterling silver.
Each collection is made differently, so we describe its materials and processes clearly rather than treating every piece as the same. What connects them is a respect for natural detail, thoughtful design and jewellery that carries meaning without feeling overly sentimental.
Whether chosen as a gift or for yourself, we want an Echo piece to feel distinctive, easy to wear and genuinely worth keeping close.

Where Echo began
A small beginning in Lymington
Echo began at home, where Yi combined her background in art with the details she noticed in the Hampshire countryside—petals, shapes, colours and small natural textures.
She experimented with preserving flowers and folding miniature origami, testing and refining each design until it felt as considered to wear as it was to make.
Then, one sunny day in June, she packed a small collection and took it to a car boot sale in Lymington, near the New Forest. Customers stopped, tried pieces on and connected with the work so quickly that she sold out. That first day gave Echo its beginning.

Echo today
Still shaped by the people who wear it
Echo grew through markets across Hampshire and Wiltshire, where Yi could meet customers face to face, hear what they loved and understand what made a piece feel special.
That closeness still matters. As Echo grows online, every collection continues to be guided by careful materials, honest information and the conversations we have with the people choosing the jewellery.
