For me, that connection has always been with nature.
When I wear wooden beads or real flower jewellery, I feel grounded by their texture and quiet presence. They remind me of where I come from and where I feel most at ease.
Flowers are delicate and fleeting. Preserving one in jewellery gives a brief moment in nature a life beyond its season.
My life has been shaped by two places: my time in East Asia, influenced by Buddhist culture, and my life here in the Hampshire countryside.
In both, I found the same deep sense of meaning in nature, especially in flowers.
As a young adult, I began working with flowers — picking them, drying them and finding ways to preserve their beauty. I tried many forms of craft, but creating jewellery with them felt different.
It felt personal.
A carefully preserved flower became something I could carry with me: a small moment of beauty, held still in time.
That feeling is what led me to create Echo Jewellery.
What began as something I made for myself soon became something others connected with too. Friends, family and customers were drawn to pieces that felt personal — often because of a flower, material or form they loved.
Today, every piece is still approached with that same intention — whether it is made, selected or carefully finished by Echo, it should feel personal to the person who wears it.
